a few from today

This is Kayden Rose. She is almost three. Pretty soon you will have met all of my grandchildren. The four of them are such a blessing and they provide endless opportunities for me to practice my photography.

I hope you dance

Meet Madision Jean, my oldest granddaughter. She is almost four. Mom and Maddie stopped by tongiht so I asked her to dance around my yard so I could work on this weeks assignment. Maddie is always dancing anyway and singing so this part was easy. Taking the photos, hard! She moved so fast and has no real interest in being photographed. Except for one small melt down we had a great time. The photos didn't turn out that great but I'm on theme!

kayden rose

meet another member of my family. this is my grandaughter. I have to confess, this is not a new photo. the thing is that I just got home and I didn't want to miss a day. This was taken last 4th of July. Shot is S priority, f/4.8, D70, kit lens. PP done - defog, contrast, Indie Rich Color action, ran thought Noiseware and then did a USM on the eyes only. Then did a sharpen and save for the Web. I posted the original also. If you have time I would love some HHCC. If not, thanks for visiting my Blog!

our newest treasure

There is nothing in life that renews my spirit more than seeing a new born. It reminds me of what a miracle life really is and for just that moment I forget about everything else that is not so good in the world. I would like to introduce Carter James, our newest treasure. My grandson. Most of you are young, just having your own children. I had five and each and every experience was magic to me. I knew that I would enjoy being a grandma but I was not prepared for how I would feel watching my sons be parents. It has surprised me how much this means to me.

the weekends over

This is my granddaughter Maddie and my first POTD. Her parents had a baby on Friday and she was so exhausted. She fell asleep before I could get the clean sheets on the bed.
